EURODISNEY!

Last Friday, I flew from Bratislava to Paris-Beauvais with my friends Eric and Jared for possibly the shortest visit to France on record.  We got into Beauvais at around 9 PM, and reached our hostel in Paris at 11.

Saturday morning we were up at 6:30 to shower and eat breakfast.  Our big plan of the day was, you guessed it, EURODISNEY!!  Anyone who knows me should know that I have a passionate love for all things Disney.  I was SO excited to see Disneyland Paris.  Because this isn’t the typical thing to do when you only have less than two days in Paris, we did a little sightseeing before our train to Disney and when we got back that night, and devoted all day on Sunday (until our 2PM bus) to sightseeing (Sunday will be a different post).

So. Eurodisney.  The land where European dreams come true.  Here are some photos and some of my thoughts (as a connoisseur of all things Disney) about the most magical place in Europe.

This is what the French have perfectly re-named The Hangover 2.

I was squealing at this point!!

This was so cool, there is a hotel right at the entrance to Disneyland park.

It was so sad that there was scaffolding all over the castle, but it was still beautiful!

I don’t have enough good things to say about Space Mountain: Mission 2.  This ride was outstanding, way better than the Space Mountains in California and Orlando.  And to top it off they began our launch with an “un, deux, trois.”

Jared and Eric were very excited after Mission 2.

My first American hot dog in God knows how long!

We LOVED that Scrooge McDuck held Euros.

Next post should come tomorrow or Thursday, when I’m done with some work that’s been piling for quite some time...

Auf Wiedersehen!
